We are excited about eSHOP and are looking forward to starting training in the coming months.

As discussed during overview sessions around campus we were planning to implement the approver threshold at $500 across the Lincoln campus. After carefully reviewing feedback we have received from end users and analyzing processes, we have since decided that all orders placed in eSHOP will require an electronic approval.

By requiring approval for all transactions we will be:
• ensuring transactions on grant accounts will always be reviewed by an approver
• allowing consistency in the processing of all transactions
• reducing journal entries on the back-end of the process
• remaining consistent with the other NU campuses

Also indicated in your overview session, eSHOP is still in its design and development phase. As we prepare to GO LIVE in April please be assured we value your feedback and are working to ensure eSHOP will be implemented in the most efficient way possible. We will be contacting Colleges/Areas this week to distribute information for role assignments in eSHOP.
